Creating a New Event
Navigate to Events
Go to Events from the main navigation menu.
Click Create Event
Click the + Create Event button.
Enter Event Details
Fill in the event information:
- Title: Event name (e.g., "Men's Breakfast")
- Description: Details about the event
- Date & Time: When the event occurs
- Location: Where it takes place (address or room)
- Image: Optional event banner/photo
Recurring Events
For events that repeat:
Enable Recurrence
Check This event repeats and configure:
- Frequency: Daily, Weekly, Monthly
- Repeat On: Specific days (e.g., every Sunday)
- End: After X occurrences or on a specific date
RSVP Settings
Configure RSVPs
Set up registration options:
- Enable RSVP: Allow members to register
- Capacity: Maximum attendees (optional)
- RSVP Deadline: Cutoff for registrations
- Waitlist: Allow signups after capacity
Notifications
Configure event reminders:
- Send reminder 1 week before
- Send reminder 1 day before
- Send reminder 1 hour before
Save Event
Click Create to publish the event. It will appear on the church calendar.

Create groups, manage membership, and schedule group meetings.
Understanding Groups
Groups help organize members for various purposes:
- Small Groups: Bible studies, life groups
- Ministries: Worship team, children's ministry
- Classes: Sunday school, new member class
- Committees: Finance, facilities, missions
Creating a Group
Navigate to Groups
Go to Groups from the main navigation.
Click Create Group
Click + Create Group.
Enter Group Details
Fill in group information:
- Name: Group name
- Description: Purpose and details
- Category: Small Group, Ministry, Class, etc.
- Meeting Schedule: When/where it meets
- Leader: Assign a group leader
Adding Members
Add Group Members
In the group, click Add Members and select from your directory.
Group Settings
- Visibility: Public (anyone can see) or Private
- Join Mode: Open, Request to Join, or Invite Only
- Communication: Enable group messaging
Group Leaders
Assign group leaders who can:
- Add and remove group members
- Send group communications
- Schedule group meetings
- Manage group prayer requests

Schedule volunteers and manage duty assignments.
Setting Up Duties
Create Duty Categories
Go to Duties > Categories and create categories like Greeter, Usher, Sound Tech, Nursery, etc.
Add Volunteer Pool
For each category, add members who are willing to serve in that role.
Scheduling Duties
Open the Scheduler
Go to Duties > Schedule to access the duty calendar.
Assign Volunteers
Click on a date and duty to assign volunteers from your pool.
Automatic Scheduling
Use auto-schedule to fill the roster:
- Respects volunteer availability
- Rotates fairly between volunteers
- Avoids scheduling conflicts
Managing Swap Requests
When volunteers request swaps:
- View pending requests in Duties > Requests
- Approve or find a replacement
- Both parties are notified of the change
Viewing Your Duties
Check My Duties
Go to My Duties from your dashboard to see your upcoming assignments.
Duty Reminders
You'll receive notifications before your scheduled duties:
- 1 week before (if enabled)
- 1 day before
- Push notification on duty day
Requesting a Swap
If you can't serve on a scheduled date:
Click Request Swap
On your duty, click Request Swap.
Add a Note
Optionally explain why you need the swap.
Submit Request
Your request goes to other volunteers in your duty pool. The first to accept gets the assignment.
Accepting Swap Requests
When another volunteer needs a swap:
- You receive a notification about the request
- Review the date and duty
- Click Accept if you can serve
- The duty is transferred to you
Event Check-in Admin
Track attendance at events using the check-in feature.
Enabling Check-in
Edit Event Settings
Open the event and enable Check-in in the event settings.
Check-in Methods
Manual Check-in
Open Check-in Screen
On event day, go to the event and click Check-in.
Find Attendees
Search by name or browse the RSVP list.
Check Them In
Click the check mark next to each attendee to mark them present.
Self Check-in
Allow attendees to check themselves in:
- Display a QR code for attendees to scan
- Attendees check in through the mobile app
- Check-in kiosk mode for tablets
Attendance Reports
After the event, view attendance data:
- Attendance Count: Total checked in vs. RSVPs
- No-shows: RSVPs who didn't attend
- Walk-ins: Attendees who didn't RSVP
- Export: Download attendance list
Attendance Tracking Over Time
For recurring events, track attendance trends:
- Average attendance per event
- Attendance growth/decline
- Individual member attendance history
